Sustainability
As a global company, Brooks understands the broad impact of our operations and our potential to affect the world. That’s why we’re committed to evaluating ways to reduce our environmental footprint while continuing to expand our business.
Brooks’ sustainability efforts are focused on ensuring that we operate in a safe, ethical, and environmentally responsible manner. We work to protect the natural environment and conserve natural resources through the Brooks Quality Management System, our Corporate Environmental, Health, and Safety Policy, adherence to ISO standards, and regulatory compliance wherever we do business.
Waste Management: We strive to manage and reduce waste and hazardous waste production through ever-expanding reuse and recycling activities. Development of waste metrics is helping us track progress at each Brooks facility and drive continuous improvement.
Energy Management: We work proactively to reduce our overall energy consumption and increase the energy efficiency of our operations. Our efforts include evaluation of renewable energy options across facilities and installation of electric vehicle chargers at our Chelmsford, MA and Fremont, CA sites.
